What more?

Well I am looking at who I can model in the New Year so I can bring about new successes and go from strength to strength in the New Year!

Who could you model?
Who is the leader in your field?
Who is the person who is where you want to be in 2 years?

These are the people you need to meet, Google or read about to work out how you can learn their best tricks to implement and initiate into your game.

Can you think of someone?? Think about it over those many glasses of wine over the Christmas period. Well you should be busy celebrating your successes!! You had a great year I am sure and you need to pat yourself on the back and plan for the next one!

Right where is 'The Muppets Christmas Carol' I fancy a Christmas themed day....

Plod on...

So this week was kinda relaxed (and cold). New clients and a mellow feel.
One of my clients this week reminded me of a great book... 'The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity' by Catherine Ponder... if you have not read it buy it now!!
Towards the end she talks wise words which are great when you are not getting the results you think you deserve:
"When discouragement and despair try to keep you from persisting towards your goals, remind yourself of the successful people who succeeded in spite of being maimed, blind, deaf or psychoneurotic:

Toscanini was so nearsighted that he could not read the score when conducting
Lord Byron had a club foot
Homer and Milton were blind
Sir Walter Scott was an invalid
Beethoven was deaf
Dostoyevski and de Maupassant were epileptic
Franklin D. Roosevelt did not have free use of his legs.

Shakespeare might have been describing the power of persistence when he wrote, 'There is a tide in the affairs of men when, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune'. ..."

"It is not always the people with the most education or talent who make the grade. It is the 'plodders'. It is the people who doggedly refuse to give up, whether they seem to have talent or brilliance. The story of the hare and tortoise is the story of persistence winning out over great odds. As with the tortoise, you cannot be defeated if you never give up."

So next time you see a hare winning at your game... plod on like the tortoise and see if you can win through. Also, if you ever think "I can't do that" then look for evidence that someone else has! It gives you inspiration and can help to silence the voices.

Along the same lines; just this morning I spotted a friend of mine in Psychologies magazine as one of the featured writers this month - Marilyn Devonish - and I thought if she can do it why can't I. So new goal for next year set :)

Well done Marilyn and everyone else going after their goals. Don't loose focus and just keep plodding on!

As we used to say when I was a Hasher (Hash House Harriers - drinking clud with a running problem)... "On On..."

Ways to save money

In this cold weather I have found a new motivation to go to the gym.... it is warm there!!

Anyone have other ways of keeping warm in this cold winter? Please comment...

Design Your Destiny...

So I was crewing at Chris Howard's DYD course at the weekend. What an amazing journey the participants go on and it was a blessing to be part of it!

Everyone had so much fun, and the frustrations all melted away by the end of the weekend.

Key learning for me:
- You have to put yourself first.
- Feel the fear and move forward with courage regardless
- If you know your Purpose, Vision, Mission.... you can do anything

Put yourself first. If you don't do it no one else will. For me that also means taking responsibility for my health... such a big thing. Make sure you are kind to your body and giving it the nutrition and exercise it needs. Rest and have fun. Clear your crap out of your brain. Design the life you want... and then make it happen!

Other people will have to lump it if you are doing something for you and it doesn't fit into their world or plans. If they truly love and respect you they should understand and make allowances.

Think about it. If you don't put yourself first, who does? The amount of people in this world who are doormats for other people. We need to set them an example and do what we want, and need to do.

You can't help the poor by being poor yourself.

WOW what a week!

WOW what a great week... business is picking up and people are getting interested in BodyTalk. I also had 2 new coaching clients :)

I also had a new business idea; so I spent the week thinking it through in some more detail. More on that soon.

I learnt a lot this week, I have been trying to improve my skills and capabilities in Business further.

Glen Carlson - gave me some top tips for marketing and sales on Thursday.... go to his Sales, Marketing & Entrepreneurial Teams event... it is really worth it. And you can go for £15 as my guest:
http://www.triumphantevents.co.uk/?unlock=794-sexpczv3ja347ws5f2mqr9wt

I went to Chris Howard's 'Ultimate Business Seminar' at the weekend! WOW what a great event.

Some key highlights - all the speakers were brilliant - included:

Loral Langemeier:

"You don't have fixed potential so refuse to live on a fixed income"

Regardless of what you do, think about it! Those of you in jobs who think you are not paid what you are worth? You are paid what you negotiated!! Wake up to the fact that you don't have to settle for where your at, as they say on The Secret 'your wealth today is a reflection of who you were, not who you can be'. Decide today you are worth more than a fixed income and take some action.

Keith Cunningham:

"What can I do today to improve my situation? Ordinary things consistently done will produce extraordinary results!"

Keith reduced me to tears with his speech! We said a lot which echos what I talk to my BodyTalk clients about.... we can't always find the Global magic solution which will fix a problem in 15 seconds. So we do nothing.

The underlying problem to all your problems is you! Think about it.

"Doing what needs to be done may not make you happy, but it will make you great" We let perfect get in the way of possible, he suggests trying to do everything poorly... at least we take action then!!

I learnt a great deal this week. I had such a great time at the weekend and the event was free... why does no one get off their arses and take advantage of this stuff! It is magic. Keith, Loral and co gave up their time to talk to us - yes they offered people to option of continuing the journey with them - but just hearing the immense value these people give out for free is inspiring and invaluable!!

Next time someone offers or recommends to you you go to a free talk, go! What is the worst that can happen? You make new friends and learn something.

The longest day...

So the longest day so far in my adventures... Sat 15th Nov.

I woke up about 4.30 (having been to a gig the night before!) and caught a train, tube... to Olympia Exhibition centre. We decided to have a stall for BodyTalk at the 'Body Mind & Soul' exhibition.

We had a great day, we were very chilled and relaxed. Spoke to loads of people about BodyTalk. We gave taster sessions... and had fun! Gudrun organised us all (her above) and we enjoyed the weekend immensly.

After the day finished I went onto do a radio show to promote BodyTalk even more... was good fun and I enjoyed chatting to Elliot Kay on his 'Inspire the Nation' show.

It was a very long day though! I actually took a day off on Sunday!! Shocker. Back to work now on another busy week.

Have fun!

Another week gone!

But not forgotten!

I had new clients this week... always fun and I remembered to celebrate their arrival :)

I said goodbye to a dear coaching collegue before he goes off travelling around the world.

I also saw a great speach by Billy Schwer. http://www.billyschwer.com/ I have known Billy for a while now, but I had never saw him speak before. He spoke about what it took for him to reach his goal of World Boxing Champion! Wow I believe goals should be scary and exciting... but have you seen some of the damage those guys do to each other? It takes real dedication to meet such a pounding!!

Make your goals big and scary... but no fighting please!

And I have been sorting out my finances... an important benchmark in anyones diary when successful...

"I don't do it for the money, but it's a great way to keep score" Donald Trump

So whatever your week was like... remember to celebrate, make time for dear friends (you never know when they will not be around anymore), set big scary goals, & keep on top of your finances - a great way to keep track of your progress!

Right I am off to watch 'The Secret' again, I have not watched it for a year and I think I need to re-energise my vision-wall!

You are what you do, not what you say...

Someone just posted this to me:
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=TQmz6Rbpnu0

It is a 12 or 13 year old girl addressing the UN. Looks like it is a few years ago. But shows the spirit and guts of someone before the belief systems of 'I can't...' 'No one will listen to me...' etc set in!

Amazing and powerful to watch. A reminder that we all have a voice, and we all can take action. Stop talking about doing things and get out there and do something. Don't sit there saying 'one day' make today the day and make the world a better place.

So much to say!

So what has happened in the last few weeks...

Met some more gorgeous men - met many criteria except for the single element. Getting better though, thanks universe I am enjoying the eye candy :)

Completed my NLP Master Practitioner course with the lovely Johnnie Cass - am someone on the course said to me "I can't believe I have paid for an ex Big Brother contestant to tell me a story about the 'Lion King' and to enjoy it" I agree and we had a clown on the course! Amazing time, amazing people. Thank you all!

So next I received a call from an amazing lady I had met briefly on a course. She had moved to Canada and thought she would call me?!? We had a brilliant chat. It is great to share ideas and positivity with like minded people.

She is a real example of how living your life by the Law of Attraction works and makes for a magic life. She is so full of life and energy.. a real treat to speak to her.

My main take away from the talk was what inspired her and lead to starting this journey... she saw someone else on stage who networked with the whole room and suddenly thought she would show him "I'll show him I can do better". She is now thinking and playing a bigger game as a result, and moved to Canada because someone suggested she should do!

Excellent. We have come up with some ideas for world domination... so watch this space. I think we have an experiment looming....

So a question: How many of you laugh yourselves silly everyday? Remember the Law of Attraction is linked to your emotions, so keep your spirits high & happy.

Love & hugs

Ask and you REALLY do get!

So yesterday I jokingly put up a pic of Johnny Depp to invoke my request for men in my life (been single for a while, and I thought it would be funny)... and what happened?

Yes I was on a train last night and a man came and introduced himself to me and insisted on getting off at my stop to have a drink with me! Even though it was really late. How funny is that! See this stuff works :)

He didn't look like Johnny but he was kinda cute.

After the coffee spillage I had ended up putting a nice girly outfit on. Maybe it was the outfit, maybe it was my mood, maybe it was the power of Johnny D?

You may ask how it ended... I sent him home in a cab. I need to be more specific in my requesting:

Non-smoker!
Available
Gorgeous
Successful
Kind
Funny
Fun
...

That will do for starters.... right where is he?

Just ask...

So today I was supposed to go into London and look for premises, however a huge cup of coffee down my front this morning said to me "stay at home for a bit" - who wants to go out in the rain anyway!

So I did stay, and I have had such a productive day. Just tick tick tick on my 'to-do' list.

Also, I searched for premises on-line, and saw about 5 interesting which vaguely met my needs. But one stood out and I thought "that is the one I want".

Out of the 5 I emailed I heard immediately back from the one I wanted! So within an hour I had agreed to go and see the room next week. It meets my location, rate... all my needs. The lady seems fab and her website is amazing, so I think we will get on well.

Just ask and it turns up!

So how about applying it to your life? You have seen 'The Secret'.

Now for my lack of men....

Finally, watch this is you get 5 minutes. Really great.

Quote of the day...

"We are all 'in the same boat' and if we start learning from each other and sharing what we have learned with others, perhaps we can get to where we're going faster"

Sums up where I see we should go. The whole credit crunch thing is down to lack of trust! [Roger Hamilton said last night] If we all trust and support each other anything is possible.

Have a great weekend! And lets work together to build a better world :)

WOW

What an amazing few weeks! I have not stopped... busy networking and plugging into the BodyTalk Matrix.

It has been sooo busy I have slipped on my daily 'finance' review!! I need to get back on top of it before it becomes a huge hurdle! Top tip: don't leave it more than 2 days to update our books, or have a great system for it.

I crewed at Breakthrough to Success the other week! What an amazing weekend, and a great opportunity to help others take action and make some changes in their lives. I was reduced to tears by the shift in one of the participants... it was a blessing to have coached her for 15 mins to help her along :)

Photo is of the man himself Chris Howard with his new 'balloon Chris' a gift from Bubbles in the Crew :)

If you want to go to the next one (all over the place) check out my invite:http://champions.christopherhoward.co.uk/ukbts.asp?cli=CLA1033320

Had the BodyTalk UK conference... a great chance to plug into another bunch of amazing people. It always lifts my spirits... can't sit here in front of the square monitor ALL the time!!

Met Peter Cohen who taught is the great phrase "Shut the duck up" when the little voices in the head are getting to you! Genius. I always find turning the voice into a cartoon like voice helps, and now Donald Duck it is! http://www.petecohen.com/

What else... yes there is more...

I went to see Mike Harris & Roger Hamilton talk last night! A nice networking opportunity and and a chance to remind myself how I am supposed to plan my business! More on that next week.

Well u can see why I have not had time to blog!

Life Shift & Foreigners

I spent the weekend with friends from XL and Dave Rogers for the Life Shift event... it was awesome! I met some great new people and had a good giggle.

I learnt some new coaching top tips and reminded myself of some I had not used recently with clients. Time to dust off those old tools and utilise them again! Apart from reminding myself what a great coach I am, my major learning was how good anyone can be as a coach if they come from a place of love and really want to help someone else.

Someone mentioned that we are all diamonds, but we do start to hide as a lump of coal as we hide our greatness away and start collecting baggage which stops us moves forward and taking action. So today - dust off the coal and remind yourself you are a diamond! Shine. For we do no one any favors hiding our strengths away and playing small. By playing a bigger game we give permission for others to shine too!

Another random occurrence over my weekend... both nights on the way home I bumped into 2 men from foreign countries who I ended up talking to and giving travel advise and entertainment to! Sat night on the tube I met two American guys, and Sun on the train two guys from Amsterdam. They all remarked on my friendly nature and thanked me for the advise and conversation we had. It felt good to connect with strangers and have really pleasant conversations. I had a really giggle and made my journey home speed up!

Great conversations really do speed up time! Try it.

Have a great day diamonds!

In the beginning...

... there was light and then Eloise came forth into the world and all celebrated her success and then cried at her death!
The End

NOOOOOO Seriously I will stop Monty Python type starts...

Hello World!!

I wanted somewhere to have a good rant and keep track of all my successes, and learnings, along the way as I am at a big point in my life!

I have escaped corporate life HURRAH! After coaching other people through it I thought I had better do it myself at some point, and here I am.

So me...

I have lots to do.. I am setting up a new business, looking for my knight in shinning armer and need to learn how to spell! And I wanted to get all of this off my chest somewhere not related to my nice shiney websites, but give me a forum to try some stuff out and maybe I will develop some of the ideas further.

If you are looking for a bit of a laugh, a giggle and some inspiration... stay tuned for further installments.

Top banana!
