Well it has been a few months since I updated this... I got drawn into a period of mega busy-ness and forgot to update my blog. Consider my wrist slapped.
So I just realised business is the same as busyness. So business needs to be busy to be a business! Well my business is the busiest it has been this week.... so that must mean I am well on my way to having a successful BUSINESS!??!
Humm, really?
I just watched the film "Fargo" - I heard of it years ago but had never watched it. A gruesome "true story", but a film that had, for me, the moral of keep it simple (KIS). People seem happier when things in life are simple. As soon as things get complicated, we get stressed and life gets tricky. Problem is us humans like a bit of drama, so we sometimes find it hard to keep it simple.
Are you getting in your own way in life? Are you making things hard for yourself? Are you creating drama needlessly?
Take a moment to identify the:
- 3 things you could simplify
- 3 things which you need to put more focus on - your already getting results by doing, and
- 3 things which you could stop today - which are not helping you grow your business?
I bet you are getting busy doing things which are not focused on driving your business forward! Admit it. So KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) and take a simpler view of your life and business.
I bet you get busier in the right ways.
